We support the Pink Ribbon Campaign to promote breast cancer screening.

Kirin Beverage is promoting the Pink Ribbon Campaign to raise awareness of the importance of early detection, early diagnosis and appropriate treatment of breast cancer through the installation of Pink Ribbon vending machines nationwide.

The Pink Ribbon activity

The Pink Ribbon activity aims to convey the importance of early detection, early diagnosis, and appropriate treatment of breast cancer,using the pink ribbon mark as a symbol. Kirin Beverage has been promoting the Pink Ribbon activity since 2008 as one of the activities to contribute to the expansion of the new joy of "food and well-being", which is a shared value of the Kirin Group.

Supporting the Pink Ribbon Festival

The Pink Ribbon Festival (hosted by the Japan Cancer Society and other organizations) is an event that began in 2003 to promote breast cancer screening. With the pink ribbon, this event conveys the importance of early detection and diagnosis, and appropriate treatment of breast cancer. Kirin Beverage also supports the purpose of this festival as a cooperating company.

Activities through vending machines

As part of our social contribution activities, we support the Pink Ribbon Campaign to raise awareness of the importance of early detection, early diagnosis, and appropriate treatment of breast cancer, and have developed the Pink Ribbon Vending Machine. A portion of the sales is donated to the "Hohoemi Fund to Eliminate Breast Cancer" established by the Japan Cancer Society for the conquest of breast cancer. By purchasing our products, you can easily participate in the Pink Ribbon activities.

Collaboration with a distribution company

We collaborate with Hello Day, a supermarket chain in the northern Kyushu and Yamaguchi areas, and every year we run a campaign to raise awareness of the Pink Ribbon movement.

Other awareness-raising activities

At Kirin Beverage, in cooperation with supporting companies, we have created and installed POP with breast cancer screening awareness messages on sales floors and products, and our employees wear pink ribbon badges on their chests and attach pink ribbon stickers to their business cards to raise awareness both inside and outside the company and promote awareness activities in their daily lives. We are promoting awareness-raising activities both inside and outside the company.
